I work collaboratively with my University colleagues to promote the effective use of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL), ensuring digital tools enrich teaching practice and enhance the student experience. I am the key contact for Learning Capture within the TEL team, supporting the strategic development of the tool at the University.

My background is in language teaching and learning technologies. I spent 15 years as an English as a Foreign Language teacher in private language schools, further and higher education, in the UK and Germany. My passion for technology-enhanced learning led me to a dedicated TEL role in education, where I’ve worked closely with educators to explore digital solutions through training and consultancy.

My areas of expertise include online and blended learning design, digital pedagogies, lecture capture, immersive technologies (AR, VR, 360 video), and technology-enhanced language acquisition. I have a particular interest in how digital tools can foster active and collaborative learning, improve accessibility, and support innovative teaching practices.

I’ve completed the Advance HE Aurora Women in Leadership Programme.
