As with Blackboard tests, where students are allowed additional time for assessments, you can grant extensions to individual students in Gradescope.<\/p>\n

Typically you will do this for each assignment, but it is also possible to give a student extra time for all future assignments in a course.<\/p>\n

Give students an extension for an assignment<\/h2>\n

Go into the specific assignment, then choose\u00a0Extensions\u00a0<\/strong>from the left hand menu.<\/p>\n

Click on Add an Extension<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now select the student from the drop-down list.<\/p>\n

Tick the box next to\u00a0Maximum Time Permitted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tick the second radio button and enter the number of extra<\/strong> minutes this student is entitled to.<\/p>\n

Give students an extension at course level<\/h2>\n

Go into the course, then choose\u00a0Extensions\u00a0<\/strong>from the left hand menu.<\/p>\n

Click on Add an Extension<\/strong>, and follow the same procedure as above.<\/p>\n

Editing extensions<\/h2>\n

To edit or delete an extension, go back to the Extensions page.<\/p>\n

Under the EDIT column, click on the Pencil icon to edit, or the Bin icon to delete the extension.<\/p>\n
