This icon indicates that this student\u2019s submission has not yet been marked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bb.reading.ac.uk\/bbcswebdav\/xid-27244277_4\" alt=\"Turntin Assignment Inbox with the blue pencil icon in the Grade column highlighted. \" class=\"wp-image-7190\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-ast-global-color-5-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-ast-global-color-5-background-color has-background\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>The Turnitin <strong>Feedback Studio<\/strong> opens in a new window showing the paper submitted by the student on-screen. The feedback and similarity tools are shown in the right-hand panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bb.reading.ac.uk\/bbcswebdav\/xid-27244276_4\" alt=\"Student submission opened in the Feedback Studio.\" class=\"wp-image-7190\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-ast-global-color-5-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-ast-global-color-5-background-color has-background\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"anonymous\">Anonymous Marking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When&nbsp;anonymous marking is enabled, you will not be able to see the Author\u2019s name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The authors name can be revealed if necessary, click on <strong>Reveal author&#8217;s identity<\/strong> and add the reason, such as a corrupt file, then click on Reveal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bb.reading.ac.uk\/bbcswebdav\/xid-27245065_4\" alt=\"Turnitin Assignment Inbox with Anonymity turned on and one users name being revealed via the &quot;Reveal Author's identity&quot; function. \" class=\"wp-image-7190\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-ast-global-color-5-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-ast-global-color-5-background-color has-background\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>The name can not be hidden again but will remain revealed in the Assignment Inbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bb.reading.ac.uk\/bbcswebdav\/xid-27245064_4\" alt=\"Turnitin Assignment Inbox with one name revealed and all others anonymous. \" class=\"wp-image-7190\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-ast-global-color-5-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-ast-global-color-5-background-color has-background\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>More details on <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/turnitin-lti-anonymous-marking\/\">Turnitin Anonymous marking<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sort\">Sort papers in the Inbox<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can sort the list of Assignments by any of the available columns by clicking on the heading name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Author<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paper title<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>paper ID<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uploaded date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"search\">Search the Inbox<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The search results will show as a filtered version of the inbox.&nbsp; The search covers all the columns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bb.reading.ac.uk\/bbcswebdav\/xid-27244275_4\" alt=\" Turnitin Assignment Inbox with some text in the Search box. In Turnitin, you are able to upload a student&#8217;s work on their behalf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Open the assignment inbox for the assessment you need to upload.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the drop down menu and select the students name from the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A screen will appear asking you to confirm that you want to submit on behalf of the student.
