This will be sent to all course members. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can use the editing toolbar to format your message, insert links and attach files. You can also use <a href=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/Learn\/Instructor\/Ultra\/Course_Content\/Create_Content\/Video_Studio#Use\">Video Studio <\/a>here to create a personlised video. YuJa videos are only available to share as links within the Annoucement editor.<br>Please note:\u00a0to view attachments, formatted links, pictures and videos; students will need to open the announcement in Blackboard. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Optional settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"720\" height=\"353\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2024\/07\/2024-07-05_15-57-06.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21544\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Send an email copy to recipients<\/strong><br>Tick the box to send this message as an email to everyone on the course or organisation.<br>This option is now available if you are scheduling your announcement to display in the future.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Schedule announcement<\/strong><br>Tick this box if you want to schedule when the announcement will appear. Only text content will be available in the email. Rich text and media can be viewed by selecting View Announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"copy\">Copying announcements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to copy one or more announcements from another course or organisation, you can do this from the Course Content page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the same steps as when <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/2023\/04\/12\/ultra-copy-content\/\">copying other types of course content<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on the Add Content icon (<strong>+<\/strong> sign) then choose&nbsp;<strong>Copy Content<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a You can also select individual students, or filter out students who have or haven&#8217;t read the announcement, and send them a message:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2025\/06\/image-25.png\" alt=\"Who has read the announcement, plus filtering out and messaging\" class=\"wp-image-26857\" width=\"481\" height=\"410\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note, however, this <strong>only indicates that the student has marked the announcement as &#8216;read<\/strong>&#8216;.
