It is the instructors responsibility to create the test and ensure that it appears correctly to students. Programme Administrators will ensure the test settings are correct. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#create\">Create a Test<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#text\">Add Text <\/a> (i.e. instructions)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#buildtest\">Adding Questions<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#bulk\">Bulk edit question points<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#metadata\">Name and Tag questions with metadata<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#reuse\">Reuse Questions<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#file\">Add a File <\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#break\">Add a page break<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#Blackboard-AI-Design-Assistant\">Blackboard AI Design Assistant<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create\"><a id=\"createtest\"><\/a>Create a Test<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to the place on the course Content where you would like the Test to be. You can select all questions at once (a) or you can select individual questions. Once created, these metadata tags can be reused across multiple questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When creating or editing tests it is possible to name and or add a tag to questions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1<\/strong>: Once the question has been created toggle the Question metadata tag under the question. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: <\/strong>Type your desired<strong> Question Title <\/strong>in the text box (a).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Type your desired tag into the <strong>Question tags<\/strong> text box (b). They can be used to filter questions when reusing them, or when adding questions to pools, forms, or a new test canvas. Use the Edit option to check that the question settings are correct for this test. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"file\">Add local File<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is possible to add a file to your test.  Use the plus content menu and select <strong>Add local File<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The file will appear on the test and can be opened within the test screen.
