Make classroom capture recordings available<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>You should only make classroom capture recordings available to students via the <strong>YuJa course channel in Blackboard.<\/strong> They should not be embedded or linked-to in the course content. Make personal capture videos available<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Personal Capture YuJa videos, such as screencasts, should be added to the <strong>course channel <\/strong>so that students have access to all videos in one easy-to-find place. You can then embed, or link-to, your personal capture videos in your Blackboard course to provide further context if you wish. <br>Do not upload video files directly to Blackboard. Video files often exceed Blackboard&#8217;s file size limits.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"LearningMaterials\">Add personal capture videos to course content areas in Blackboard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Learning Materials module<\/strong> to expand it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>weekly content folder<\/strong> where the video will be.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hover where you wish to place the video and click on the <strong>purple plus icon<\/strong> which appears.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <strong>Content Market<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"782\" height=\"468\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2024\/04\/Content-market-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20519\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2024\/04\/Content-market-1.jpg 782w, https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2024\/04\/Content-market-1-768x460.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 782px) 100vw, 782px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5. The search bar and filter funnel gives various search options to help you find your video. For example, a video you&#8217;d like students to watch before a lecture, together with the handouts and lecture slides for context. Share permissions on YuJa videos with colleagues in the University<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can share a personal capture YuJa video with someone in the organisation and set certain viewing and access permissions. Share a video link with colleagues at the University<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also share videos with anyone with a University of Reading email address by sending them a direct link. This is a recommended solution for sharing video links with external examiners. They will be asked to authenticate with their University credentials (ab123456@reading.ac.uk) before they can view your video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Hover over the video to trigger the menu option.
