Go to the Comments settings area<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"513\" height=\"466\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2024\/08\/More-Menu-Comments-Option.png\" alt=\"A compound image of selecting the More menu on a video and then the Comments menu item. \" class=\"wp-image-22711\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the comments menu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Enable Comments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;ll then see two permission levels &#8211; one for creating and one for viewing comments. Choose&nbsp;<strong>Content Owner &amp; Administrator Only<\/strong>&nbsp;for the creation of comments and&nbsp;<strong>All Authenticated Users<\/strong>&nbsp;for viewing.&nbsp; All authenticated users allows only UoR students and staff to see the comments, even if using the video elsewhere.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save Comments<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"763\" height=\"471\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2024\/08\/Enable-comments-and-who.png\" alt=\"Steps 1 to 3 of enabling comments as detailed in text.\" class=\"wp-image-22713\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"insertcomment\">Insert Comments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To insert a comment into the video:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Begin playing the video until you wish to add a comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Click on the&nbsp;<strong>Settings&nbsp;<\/strong>cog on the bottom bar in the video window<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.
