However, you can undo the override. This guide aims to outline how to do this and explain some of the messages which are displayed when marking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"#one-submission\">Blackboard Assignments (One Submission)<\/a><br><a href=\"#multiple-submissions\">Blackboard Assignments (Multiple Submissions)<br><\/a><a href=\"#anonymous\">Blackboard Assignments (Anonymous Submissions)<\/a><br><a href=\"#discussions\">Blackboard Assessed Discussions and Journals<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"one-submission\">Blackboard Assignments (One Submission)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have used the rubric to mark, you can click into the mark pill to edit the mark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The message above the rubric will be &#8216;<em>You&#8217;ve overridden the mark for this submission. You may re-mark with the rubric.&#8217;<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"382\" height=\"174\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2024\/11\/One-Submission-allowed-Rubric-Message.png\" alt=\"A submission score and rubric message as previous text explains.\" class=\"wp-image-24867\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the rubric to adjust the marks if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"multiple-submissions\">Blackboard Assignments (Multiple Submissions)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When multiple submissions are used, the rubric can be used to mark each submission. Whilst you can override any mark, the override mark will apply to all submissions. Usually when allow multiple attempts is selected, the settings will be only to mark the last submitted attempt. When a rubric is applied, the mark will be added, and can be adjusted within the mark box.
