You may wish to coordinate these tasks with other module instructors or teaching assistants who teach on the module.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are a new member of staff, please view the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/getting-started-with-tel\/\">Getting started with TEL<\/a> page&nbsp;on the TEL website, in addition to the advise below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Complete the following key tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/blackboard-course-rollover\/\">Blackboard Course Rollover<\/a> guide<\/strong>, with step-by-step instructions for preparing and setting up your course.\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/how-to-use-the-course-template\/\">How to use the Ultra Course template<\/a> explains the institutionally agreed template and how to set up each section. Work through the guidance to build your course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/making-your-ultra-content-accessible\/\">Create accessible Blackboard content for your students<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update learning resources &amp; materials in the <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.reading.ac.uk\/teaching-staff\/materials-teaching-support\">online reading list<\/a> and use the <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.reading.ac.uk\/teaching-staff\/scanning-service\">Library&#8217;s scanning service<\/a> to digitise print materials to meet copyright and accessibility legal requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once ready, <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/ultra-make-a-course-or-organisation-available\/\">make your Course available<\/a> to your students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Book to attend relevant <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/tel-staff-development\/\">TEL staff development<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resources to help your students prepare to use Blackboard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Introduce students to your Blackboard course and provide an overview of what you use Blackboard for and how you use it.
