Use it to write a short note or keyword to help administer assessment, for example, the name of a second marker. The column:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Gives each student a seperate text cell.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Appears in the <strong>Filter <\/strong>and be ordered by the text.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Content can be <strong>downloaded <\/strong>to work in Excel and re-uploaded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can be seen by <strong>staff <\/strong>and \/ or shown to <strong>students<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is <strong>posted automatically <\/strong>(but can be hidden from students).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Does not support the entry or calculation marks<\/strong>, rubrics or feedback, due dates or points values, and <strong>does not transfer to RISIS<\/strong> via the EMA. Integration. (Instead, use a standard grade column to provide feedback or a grading schema to apply text based marks, for example, pass \/ fail.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To set up and use a Text Item:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#add\">Add a Text Item <\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#instructors\">Instructors View<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#students\">Student view<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-ast-global-color-5-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-ast-global-color-5-background-color has-background\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"add\">Add a Text Item<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>New Text Items are created in the Gradebook by adding a new Text Item and then entering text in the column cell for a student.
