{"id":3561,"date":"2018-10-25T14:00:51","date_gmt":"2018-10-25T14:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel-support-test-2\/?p=3561"},"modified":"2024-08-07T09:35:43","modified_gmt":"2024-08-07T09:35:43","slug":"mode-of-submission-presentation-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/TEL-Support-Staff\/mode-of-submission-presentation-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Mode of Submission: Bb presentation \/ performance (group)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>RISIS Mode of Submission<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Use for<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>What\u2019s created in Blackboard <\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Students submit to<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Channel for feedback <\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>AG03 Bb presentation \/ performance (group)<\/td><td>Group presentation \/ performance <\/td><td>Blackboard Assignment<\/td><td>Blackboard Assignment<\/td><td>Blackboard Assignment<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Use this option where&nbsp;students work and present in class as a group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One member of the group may be required to submit a file&nbsp;e.g. PowerPoint presentation or coversheet, on behalf of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternatively, it is possible to provide marks and feedback without students having submitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All members of the group will receive the same mark and feedback, although if required different marks and feedback can also be provided for individual students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Marker will provide marks and feedback via Blackboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Notes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Anonymous marking is not supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">File submission required<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Edit the Assignment Settings to assign it to all relevant groups (create new groups from here if required).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One representative from the group submits work on behalf of the whole group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No file submission required<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Edit the Assignment Settings to assign it to all relevant groups (create new groups from here if required).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tick the box for &#8216;Collect Submissions Offline&#8217;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marks and feedback can now be provided without the need for a submission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assigning of marks and provision of feedback<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Provide marks and feedback via the Blackboard Assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If providing individual mark and feedback to members of a Group, the marker can give the same mark and feedback to the whole group, and then change the marks for individual members of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students may have presentation due dates spread out over a period of time.
