Meeting attendees have the ability to respond to polls, but they can&#8217;t edit them.<\/li>\n<li>Although they use the same platform, Polls are not the same as Microsoft Forms.<\/li>\n<li>You should <strong>enable Polls<\/strong> in the meeting before you use them.<\/li>\n<li>Polls <strong>can\u2019t be used in Channel Meetings.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Polls are a great way of engaging with students during your online sessions and getting in-the-moment feedback.<\/p>\n<p>Live polls can be created in <strong>Microsoft Teams Meetings<\/strong> and within <strong>chat<\/strong> sessions. They can be set up <strong>before<\/strong> or <strong>during the session<\/strong> and launched when needed.<\/p>\n<p>Each poll in Teams is one question with a maximum of <strong>six<\/strong> <strong>possible responses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Enable polls in your meeting<\/h2>\n<p>To use Polls, you must first enable he tool in the meeting or chat you wish to launch it in. Launching directly from the chat pane doesn&#8217;t give you all features however, and does not allow for easy closing or editing of the poll. Running a poll from the chat is ideal if you decide to get some impromptu student feedback which you didn&#8217;t prepare in advance. Microsoft&#8217;s help guide &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office\/add-a-poll-to-your-teams-channel-or-chat-a3f9112c-01e1-4ee4-bd88-25e4e243b80b\">Add a poll to your Teams channel or chat<\/a>&#8216; gives more information on this feature.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"RDG3\">Create your poll<\/h2>\n<p>Polls can be created before or during your session.
