DESCRIPTION:Book a place here. \nThis session is for academic teaching staff and others who work with 1st year undergraduates\, especially Academic Tutors. We will explore reported concerns around lack of preparedness for the transition to university study\, and discuss ways of mitigating this and supporting students through their first year studies. The session will discuss feedback from students collected while preparing and delivering the Study Smart pre-entry online course and showcase the approach taken in some Schools to supporting their students with this key transition.
