Students need to book and these contribute towards the Red award<\/p>\n<p>Or for advice tailored specifically to your students\u2019 concerns, suggest they book a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/library\/study-advice\/one-to-one-advice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one-to-one appointment,<\/a> available both online and in person. If they have a quick query they can attend a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/library\/study-advice\/one-to-one-advice?#quickqueries\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">drop-in session<\/a> (1-2pm, Mon-Fri during semester-time).<\/p>\n<p>See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/library\/study-advice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our website<\/a> for more on booking an advice session and 24\/7 access to Study Advice via our online guides and video tutorials.<\/p>\n<p>Study Smart Study Smart is an online course with content developed by the Study Advice team, in collaboration with the Online Courses team, which aims to prepare students for successful university-level study. All new Part 1 students receive an invitation to enrol via email before Welcome Week. For more information on Study Smart, please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.reading.ac.uk\/studysmart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tutor Guide<\/a>. Note that this guide is for tutors only: students should be accessing the materials through the course itself.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the course students can download a certificate of completion and rate their confidence in some of the key academic skills covered in the course.
