The courses may be suitable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for chartered meteorologists.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We welcome applications and enquiries from people in the UK and around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Each course is three months in duration:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/meteorology\/online-courses\/classes\/fundamentals-of-meteorology\">Fundamentals of Meteorology<\/a> (September to December 2023) \u2013 deadline to apply is <strong>10 September<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/meteorology\/online-courses\/classes\/statistics-for-weather-and-climate-science\">Statistics for Weather and Climate Science<\/a>\u00a0(September to December 2023) \u2013 deadline to apply is <strong>10 September<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/meteorology\/online-courses\/classes\/tropical-meteorology\">Tropical Meteorology<\/a>\u00a0(January to March 2024) \u2013 deadline to apply is <strong>19 December<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/meteorology\/online-courses\/classes\/climate-services-and-climate-impact-modelling\">Climate Services and Climate Impact Modelling<\/a>\u00a0(January to March 2024) \u2013 deadline to apply is <strong>19 December<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Course fees<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The course fees for the 2023-24 academic year are \u00a3500 per course for international and UK learners.<\/p>\n<p>Competitive scholarships for 80% of the course fee are available for people from low income countries.
