Running from <strong>Tuesday 29 April to Wednesday 30 April<\/strong>, Giving Day marks a notable moment in the University\u2019s longstanding tradition of collaboration and generosity.<\/p>\n<p>The ongoing kindness of our alumni and supporters enables the University to continue to offer exceptional opportunities for our students, lead groundbreaking research, and support our local community. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Watch the video below to find out more about Giving Day:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"University of Reading Giving Day 2025\" width=\"770\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XGpsm3lCnnk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>For our \u200bfirst-ever\u200b Giving Day, four key causes have been selected that will directly benefit from donations. From <a href=\"https:\/\/givingday.reading.ac.uk\/coming-soon\/\">student scholarships<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/givingday.reading.ac.uk\/p\/autismhub\/\">Centre for Autism Wellbeing Hub<\/a> (launched last year through the generosity of our alumni), to <a href=\"https:\/\/givingday.reading.ac.uk\/p\/henley\/\">Henley\u2019s entrepreneurship programmes<\/a>, and flexible support <a href=\"https:\/\/givingday.reading.ac.uk\/p\/readinggreatest\/\">where the need is greatest<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The event will also feature a series of match funding challenges totalling \u00a320,000, helping to highlight the collective impact of community participation. An additional challenge, with the target of receiving 20 early donations before <strong>29 April<\/strong>, will unlock an extra \u00a31,500 from the University of Reading in match funding.<\/p>\n<p>Daisy Aylward, University of Reading Fundraising Officer, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Giving Day is about more than donations &#8211;
