Remember when you were at college or sixth form and you came to Reading for the first time for an Open Day? Remember how terrifying and exciting it was to be on the cusp of making that huge decision about where to go and what to study for your degree, for years\u2026?<\/span><\/p>\n

As the University prepares to welcome thousands of potential students to its summer undergraduate Open Days on 21 and 22 June<\/strong>, it is fair to say that their experience of our campus will be very different from yours (check out the 360 Virtual Open Day<\/a> to see for yourself).<\/p>\n

Maybe you have a child or grandchild who is currently choosing which university to attend? Maybe you have friends, family or colleagues who are confused about where they or their loved ones will be spending the next few years of study? Perhaps now is the time to break out to the photo albums \u2013 real and virtual \u2013 and share your memories of Reading!<\/p>\n

As a graduate, you\u2019ll know that Reading is a fantastic place to live, study and work. It\u2019s started picking up awards like City of the Year<\/a>. The University itself is increasingly recognised for its standing in the world, both for pioneering research, with 98% rated of international standard in the latest Research Excellence Framework<\/a>, and for our fantastic graduate employment rates and levels of student satisfaction.<\/p>\n

In the Alumni team, we love hearing stories of different generations of the same family studying at Reading. All experiencing life at the University, in the same town, but in incredibly different ways.<\/p>\n

Reading\u2019s 2019 summer Open Days<\/strong> are on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June<\/strong>. If you can\u2019t make those, we also have Open Days on Saturday 5 and Saturday 12 October<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
