These may include Blackboard courses, electronic resources, text and multimedia, handouts, reading lists, recorded lectures or screencasts\/videos that students watch before a seminar.<\/p>\n<p>The University has a moral and legal obligation under the Equality Act 2010 to provide alternative formats (e.g. large print or Braille) of documentation upon request. However, there are also simple changes you can make to the resources you provide in order to ensure students can use your resources with ease.<\/p>\n<p>Creating accessible resources from the outset provides a more inclusive learning experience for your students and should make conversion to alternative formats quicker and easier where necessary.
