SUMMARY:TEL Training Session: EMA Blackboard Assignment Tool (For Support Staff)
DESCRIPTION:This session is specifically designed for Administrators and will focus on Blackboard Assignment tool. It will cover instructions and hands on experience to provide the skills necessary to prepare Administrators for their role in the process of e-Submission Feedback and Grading (eSFG) within the EMA programme. \nBy the end of the session you will:\n• Have a clear overview of the eSFG process and how it will affect you\n• Understand the types of assignments that will use the Blackboard Assignment tool\n• Be able to set up a Bb assignment submission point\n• Be able to upload a rubric\n• Be able to email students who submit late\n• Be aware of the marking process with Inline Grading tool\n• Be able to manage Bb assignment submissions in the Grade Centre\n• Be aware of the implications of anonymous marking\n• Understand how students access feedback and marks \nThis session is a prerequisite for the BB Grade Centre and BB Groups sessions. \nTEL EMA: Blackboard Assignment Tool is part of the e-Assessment suite of sessions. Other sessions in this suite include Turnitin Assignment Tool\, BB Grade Centre and BB Groups. This is complemented by a suite of online tutorials in Blackboard which\, taken together\, equips staff with the knowledge needed to start using Blackboard effectively in line with the EMA University wide roll out. \nThis session aligns with A4\, K4\, of the UKPSF. \nSign up
