It is extremely important that the University continues to set targets and make progress against them in order to minimise our impact on the local environment.<\/p>\n<p>More detail of previous sustainable travel plans can be found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/sustainability\/policies-and-strategies\/university-of-reading-travel-plan-2022-23-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment noopener wp-att-14531\">University of Reading Travel Plan 2022-23<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/sustainability\/sustainable-travel\/travel-plan-monitoring\/uor-travel-plan-2017-2022-amended-jan-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment noopener wp-att-8107\">University of Reading Plan 2017-2022<\/a>. panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-652-5-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-652-5-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"7\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>The University conducts a survey of staff and student travel every two years. This is both to <strong>monitor progress<\/strong> against the Travel Plan targets, and <strong>to identify what improvements staff and students would like to see<\/strong> to ease their journey to campus.<\/p>\n<p>The 2024 Travel Survey was conducted during January 2024 - a massive thank you to all the people who supported the delivery of the survey and all the staff and students that completed it.
