The pledge will only go live at 10am ready for the climate action.<\/li>\n<li>come join us at the Carrington screen to show your support for the climate strike.<\/li>\n<li>staff sign up to <a href=\"https:\/\/reading.teamjump.co.uk\">JUMP<\/a> \u2013 the University\u2019s online green action portal \u2013 and rewarding those already signed up with extra points.<\/li>\n<li>organising a \u2018mini switch off\u2019 \u2013 providing colleagues with a <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/09\/Switch-off.pdf\">checklist<\/a> to see which items can be turned off where they work, and reporting issues if they are unsure or they see wasteful use of energy elsewhere. once you have switched off come join use at the Carrington screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anyone wanting to organise their own activities in their own School, function or building is welcome to do so. This could be a talk about climate change; a group walk around campus; or any other activity that has a climate or environmental focus.<\/p>\n<p>you can always email use at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sustainability@reading.ac.uk\">sustainability@reading.ac.uk<\/a> with your plans, and pictures of your activities, and we will list them all on the Sustainability website.
