Did you know that in the UK alone, approximately 80 million Easter eggs are sold each year! With the Easter break fast approaching, and everyone enjoying the abundance of chocolate at this time of year, it can be very wasteful and impactful on our planet.<\/p>\n

Therefore, we wanted to share with you some easy, cracking tips on how to have both an egg-citing and sustainable Easter this year.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Buy Fairtrade chocolate \u2013 guarantees fair pay for workers and is sourced as ethically as possible\"\"<\/li>\n
  2. Avoid wasteful packaging \u2013 choose plastic free or compostable packaging<\/li>\n
  3. Recycle where possible \u2013 if you cannot avoid plastic packaging, then ensure that it is recyclable<\/li>\n
  4. Donate instead of discarding \u2013 give away unwanted\/unused items instead of throwing it away for landfill<\/li>\n
  5. Support local businesses \u2013 buy your Easter eggs from local producers who use sustainable practices<\/li>\n
  6. Do some arts and crafts \u2013 get creative and make eco-friendly decorations with items around the house instead of buying them<\/li>\n
  7. Reuse decorations \u2013 if you cannot make your own, buy decorations which can be reused yearly such as fabric bunting and baskets<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Hopefully, these egg-cellent, green tips show you how easy it actually is to have a more sustainable Easter, whilst also still enjoying yourself.<\/p>\n
