Access your personal area on Blackboard and go to the Global Notification Settings.
Selecting any of these takes you directly to the specific notifications panel, but all are linked when open.

When in the activity stream the settings cog opens the nofications menu
Change your notifications
Select or de-select all the notifications you think you will want. You can change later if they are too many or not enough. The notifications are in three catagories:
(Activity) Stream Notifications – Control what appears on your activity stream in Blackboard and the app
Email Notifications – Choose to recieve emails about things such as marks, discussions and overdue items
Push Notifications – Choose which items are notified through the app
