Video Recording

Check the assignment brief to work out how best to create your video.

Depending on your brief, you might wish to use your phone to record a language discussion or powerpoint or Teams to do a group report presentation. You can also create the video directly in YuJa.

PowerPoint has an in-built recorder which will let you record your presentation with narration. You can export the video as an mp4. This Microsoft Office support article covers the method for Office 365, earlier versions of Windows, Mac OS and PowerPoint online: Record a slide show with narration and slide timings .When you save the PowerPoint file, your audio is saved with it.

2. Export your screencast to a video MP4 file
When you have finished producing your screencast in PowerPoint, then export the file as a video (MP4) file. For instructions on how to do this, please see the “Save as a video file” instructions in this guidance from Microsoft: Turn your presentation into a video

If you have recorded your video elsewhere, make sure it will be the correct file format for YuJa.

The following video file types are supported by YuJa: mp4, wmv, asf, avi, mpg, mpeg, m2v
