Any updates to your assessment marks will be&nbsp;shown in RISIS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shortly after you have seen your mark&nbsp;in Blackboard it will be transferred&nbsp;to RISIS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">RISIS<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your marks are formally managed&nbsp;in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.risisweb.reading.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RISIS<\/a> and any updates will be&nbsp;shown here.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Your assessment marks in RISIS will be used to&nbsp;calculate your module mark.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marks in RISIS may be updated during&nbsp;the academic year. This means that&nbsp;your mark in RISIS may not match the&nbsp;mark shown in Blackboard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You will need to check RISIS to see<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>All your assessment marks in one place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If any marks have been updated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your module mark, once calculated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/exams\/\">Exams web page<\/a> for&nbsp;the publication date of your final&nbsp;module results<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why might my mark&nbsp;be updated in RISIS?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Late penalty<\/strong><br>A deduction to the initial mark, with the reason shown in RISIS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Internal moderation<\/strong><br>If moderation occurs after marks have&nbsp;been released to you, your mark may&nbsp;be updated, with the reason shown in RISIS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Academic misconduct<\/strong><br>The outcome of an academic&nbsp;misconduct investigation will be shown&nbsp;in RISIS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>External review<\/strong><br>Your marks are reviewed by external&nbsp;examiners and the exam boards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Need help?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Contact your <a href=\"http:\/\/student.reading.ac.uk\/essentials\/_support-and-wellbeing\/support-arrangements\/support-centres.aspx\">Support Centre or&nbsp;Admin Deck<\/a> in the first instance and&nbsp;they will ensure your query is answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>University of Reading Malaysia<\/strong> students, contact your Academic Tutor or email <a href=\"mailto:studenthelp@reading.edu.my\">studenthelp@reading.edu.my<\/a> for advice<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">Students should be aware that marks and grades given to them during any part of a degree programme are subject to moderation by internal and external examiners, who may recommend changes either to the marks of a particular student or to those of a whole group.
