scanned handwritten answers to take home exams and other assessments in Blackboard.<br>Please ensure that when you submit the scans, that they are a single PDF file.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Write your answers<\/strong> to the questions onto plain, lined or graph A4 paper where possible, please include a number on the page that indicates the order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have a mobile phone, use a scanning App, such as:\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Microsoft Office Lens<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office\/microsoft-office-lens-for-ios-fbdca5f4-1b1b-4391-a931-dc1c2582397b?ui=en-us&amp;rs=en-us&amp;ad=us\">Android<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office\/microsoft-office-lens-for-ios-fbdca5f4-1b1b-4391-a931-dc1c2582397b?ui=en-us&amp;rs=en-us&amp;ad=us\">iOS<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Microsoft Office app&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/OfficeAppAndroid\">Android<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/OfficeAppiOS\">iOS<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT210336\">Apple iOS Notes Scanner<\/a>,<\/strong> to capture your pages.\n<ul>\n<li>Whichever app you plan to use, <strong>make sure that you have installed it in advance of the exam<\/strong>, and are confident in how to use it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some apps only allow you to scan a few pages into a single file &#8211; for instance, with the MS OneDrive app you can scan a maximum of 10 pages, which may not be enough for some exams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The latest versions of MS Office, Office Lens and iOS Notes Scanner apps have a much higher limit which should be more than enough to scan all pages of your exam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take the scan in a <strong>well-lit<\/strong> environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check that the scan is <strong>readable<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save the scans<strong> as a single PDF<\/strong> document \u2013 both the Office apps and iOS Notes can do this for you.<br><strong>Don&#8217;t<\/strong> use the OCR tools built into these apps to convert the image to text &#8211; this will almost certainly introduce some errors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transfer the scans to your computer.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Email to yourself<\/strong> or share to your preferred cloud storage e.g. OneDrive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you do not have a computer, please see <a a Blackboard Assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do this please ensure that<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>you submit all of the files in one attempt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the files are submitted in the correct
