Blackboard messages may be sent to you, to all members of a group you\u2019re in, to a selection of people or to all course members.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your instructor may choose to send you an email copy of a Blackboard message.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You cannot create, respond to or forward Blackboard messages. The number on the messages icon indicates the number of unread messages. Here you can see the list of messages and open any message. You see a number on the tab indicating unread messages in the course.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unread messages will appear first, with a number next to the sender\u2019s name indicating the number of messages they have sent.
