Ultra: Create Item menu

When adding content in a content area hover over the divider line where you would like to add the content and click on the plus icon to reveal the Add Content menu.

The first option on the Add Content menu is Create.

This video is 11mins long but covers Learning Modules, Folders and Documents from the Create Item menu options.

Create Item

When you click on the Create option a Create Item menu will open on the right-hand side of the screen.

In the menu there are three sections:

• Course Content Items
• Assessment
• Participation and Engagement

Course Content Items

• • Learning Module
  • Folder
  • Document
  • Link
  • Teaching Tools with LTI connection
  • SCORM package

The Course Content Items options can be used in different ways to organise the course materials.

Assessment

• • Test
  • Assignment

Assessment in Ultra Courses is not due until the academic year 2024/5. Guidance will be provided in due course.

Participation and Engagement

• • Discussion
