The key features of Gradescope are Enables efficient online marking of scanned handwritten work: this applies mostly to assessments requiring the use of mathematical or scientific notation, but also some modern languages assessments. Supports timed assessments: for example an exam can be made available for 23 hours, but must be completed within 2 hours once started. From 2022\/23 Gradescope is available for use not just in exams, but also formative or summative coursework assessment. Gradescope update January 2023 We have implemented an updated integration between Blackboard and Gradescope (Gradescope LTI 1.3). This allows you to create a link from your Blackboard course direct to a specific Gradescope assignment. It also creates a column for each Gradescope assignment in the Blackboard Grade Centre. Guides on the use of Gradescope Gradescope provide comprehensive help materials at\u00a0https:\/\/help.gradescope.com At Reading, Gradescope is integrated into Blackboard (similar to the integration between Blackboard and Turnitin). On courses where Gradescope use has been approved, both staff and students should access Gradescope via Blackboard.
