You may wish to create your marking rubric<\/a> before students have submitted.<\/p>\n

This is now possible without the need to create a test student<\/a> in Gradescope.<\/p>\n

Create an Assignment<\/h2>\n

When creating the Assignment under Create Your Rubric<\/strong> check the box Before student submission.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Set the Outline<\/h2>\n

Once the Create Assignment button is clicked the Assignment Outline page will open.<\/p>\n

Set the Outline as usual.<\/p>\n

When you have saved your outline the Create Rubric page will open.<\/p>\n

Now you can create your Rubric<\/a>.\u00a0 Alternatively you can come back to this page at a later time to create the Rubric, without any submissions.<\/p>\n

The option to Create Rubric will be available from the left-hand side menu when you click on the Assignment from the dashboard.<\/p>\n
