There is no in-built annotation feature in MS Teams for presenting PowerPoint slides. However, you can work around<\/strong> this and still\u00a0present PowerPoints effectively\u00a0<\/span>in your teaching by sharing the window<\/strong> on your screen displaying the slides, and using MS PowerPoint’s annotation features<\/strong><\/a> while presenting the slides.\u00a0<\/span>See below for instructions and guidance:<\/span><\/p>\n

How to use the Window option to Share Content in a Teams Meeting<\/h2>\n

Use this option if you want to use the Teams Desktop App<\/strong> or if you want to use the Presenter View in PowerPoint<\/strong> to see your notes.<\/p>\n

  1. Open your PowerPoint\u00a0Presentation<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>on your computer<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Start<\/span>\u00a0your presentation<\/span>\u00a0as a slideshow<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n

      1. Open your PowerPoint on your computer and\u00a0start the presentation as a slideshow<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      2. Use the ‘Alt+Tab’ keyboard shortcut to move between applications if you only have one computer screen.<\/li>\n
