Add your Points possible, now under <strong>Max Grade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"https:\/\/www.bb.reading.ac.uk\/bbcswebdav\/xid-27219675_4\" alt=\"The Turnitin settings area\" width=\"764\" height=\"373\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As before the start date will be when you create the assignment, and you can add the Due date using the calendar. This is usually set to<strong> Standard<\/strong> paper repository, but you can choose &#8216;Do not store the submitted paper&#8217; for <strong>draft<\/strong> submission areas.<\/p>\n<p>Selecting <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel-support\/2022\/06\/15\/turnitin-lti-allow-any-file-type\/\">Allow submission of any file type<\/a> will allow any type of file to be uploaded to Turnitin, but won&#8217;t produce a similarity report for non-office type files, and larger or non standard PowerPoint files.<\/p>\n<p>Select whether <strong>late submissions<\/strong> are allowed<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Schools with a single submission point = Yes<\/li>\n<li>Schools with separate on-time and post-deadline submission points<br \/>\non-time assignment = No<br \/>\npost-deadline assignment = Yes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Select whether you will be using <strong>anonymous marking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Attach a rubric to mark with, and choose from your Rubric list or <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel-support\/?p=12291&amp;preview=true\">Launch the rubric manage<\/a>r to create a new one.<\/p>\n<div id=\"postdeadline\">\n<blockquote>\n<h4>Post-deadline submission points<\/h4>\n<p>The <strong>due date<\/strong> and <strong>start date<\/strong> for the post-deadline submission point would normally both be the same as the official deadline for this assignment. However Turnitin will not now allow you to set the due date as the same as the start date. You can overwrite this setting in individual Similarity Reports.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Exclude quoted materials<\/strong><br \/>\nSelect the checkbox to exclude quotations from being checked for matches when generating Similarity Reports. You can overwrite this setting in individual Similarity Reports.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Exclude small sources<br \/>\n<\/strong>Select the checkbox to exclude matches that are not of sufficient length (determined by you) from being considered when generating Similarity Reports. A box will appear, where you can exclude matches by word count or by percentage<\/li>\n<li><strong>Exclude assignment template<br \/>\n<\/strong>You can now also <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel-support\/?p=12276&amp;preview=true\">exclude any proformas or templates<\/a> from the similarity to see the true match to original work. Assignment<\/h3>\n<p>After completing all the settings, and choosing whether to save these for next time, click <strong>Submit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Assignment will appear in the content by using the Blackboard Edit options for the submission point or hide the column in the Grades Centre.<\/p>\n<h3>Hide Column from Edit page<\/h3>\n<p>Locate the new submission point in the content
