Getting Started"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>What are Blackboard Groups?<\/h2>\n<p>Blackboard Groups are a way of organising students on a Course.<\/p>\n<p>Students can belong to more than one Group at a time and Groups can be set up for many different purposes, including<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Group Assignments and Group Work: to create a collaboration space for students using Blackboard tools, and\u00a0to provide a way for students to submit group work.<\/li>\n<li>Marking: students can be assigned to a Group, so that markers can access the assigned students via a Smart View\u00a0in the Grade Centre, or via <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel-support\/2018\/07\/27\/turnitin-marking-submissions-by-group-turnitin-by-group\/\">Turnitin Assignments by Groups<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Moderation: moderators can then use these same Groups to review the marks and feedback provided by each marker.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Where are Groups located?<\/h2>\n<p>You can find groups located in the <strong>Control Panel &gt;
