\"Important\r\nThe\u00a0'School and Departmental Directors of Teaching and Learning' admin role in Blackboard is designed for SDTLs and DDTLs, to enable them quickly and easily to access any course in their School.\u00a0The role can be assigned to other senior academic staff on request.<\/pre>\n
Accessing courses<\/h1>\n
Once assigned the role, you will see the Admin option on the Blackboard Menu. Navigate to this tab and click on Courses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
\"Blackboard\"Administrative<\/p>\n
You can search for any course in your School \/ Department, by course name or module \/ programme code.<\/p>\n
\"Course<\/p>\n
    \n
  1. Search by Course ID or Course Name.
    \nTruncation is applied automatically
    \ne.g. \u2018cognit\u2019 will return hits for courses\u00a0containing \u2018cognition\u2019 and \u2018cognitive\u2019; ‘PY2TA’ will return results also for PY2TA1, PY2TA2 etc.<\/li>\n
  2. Select Contains \/ Equal to \/ Starts with<\/li>\n
  3. Enter the search term<\/li>\n
  4. To narrow the search results, you may find it helpful to search for courses created After a certain date
    \ne.g. to find 2018-19 courses search for courses created after 1st June 2018<\/li>\n
  5. Search results are sorted by Course ID. You can click on any of the column headings to reorder the results.<\/li>\n
