Where do I go to annotate the paper?<\/h2>\n

When looking at a student\u2019s paper in the Turnitin\u00a0Feedback Studio<\/strong>\u00a0you will see the blue\u00a0instructor feedback<\/strong>\u00a0toolbar on the right hand side.<\/p>\n

\"Highlighting<\/p>\n

Adding QuickMarks<\/h2>\n

Quickmarks are re-usable comments<\/strong>\u00a0that have been saved in your personal library.<\/p>\n

You can either:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Open the QuickMarks section of the right-hand panel.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Drag an existing QuickMark onto the appropriate place in the student\u2019s paper.<\/p>\n

Click on the QuickMark you want to insert 4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The QuickMark appears in the paper,\u00a0check the text\u00a0and scroll to the bottom to add\u00a0a custom comment 5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Click on the\u00a0Delete\u00a0bin icon, to remove a QuickMark. 6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If you add a custom comment, a speech bubble is added next to the QuickMark title Adding a Comment 1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Left Click\u00a0anywhere on the paper, then select the\u00a0Comment\u00a0tool. 2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Type your comment\u00a0in the popup text box. 3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You can convert the Comment into a QuickMark if you plan on re-using it. a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Click on the\u00a0Convert to QuickMark\u00a0link. b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Give it a\u00a0Title\u00a0and choose which a QuickMark\u00a0Set\u00a0to add it to. c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Click\u00a0Save. Highlighted text and add a Comment or QuickMark 1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Click and drag over the text you want to highlight. Link a QuickMark or Comment to a Rubric criterion If you are using a Rubric, you can associate your QuickMark or Comment to the appropriate Rubric criterion. Click on the QuickMark or Comment to open it. 1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Click on\u00a0\u2018Assign Criterion\u2019 2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Pick the required criterion\u00a0from the list shown. 3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A Rubric icon is added to the title of the QuickMark or Comment\u00a0to show it has been added.   Note: If using both functions “Assign to Rubric” and “Convert to QuickMark” please convert to a QM before assigning to a Rubric.
