Electronic Management of Assessment (EMA)

In January 2020, the University completed its Electronic Management of Assessment (EMA) programme – a piece of work designed to move all appropriate assessment online, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities and consistency in protocols and processes. Much of the guidance and resources created during the programme have been absorbed into existing web resources, many within TEL’s staff support site and student support site. The programme’s official website will remain active for a little longer in case anyone wishes to view it.

The interactive map below (developed as part of EMA) links to useful guidance and resources related to each stage of the assessment cycle, from specifying an assessment and setting it up, through supporting students to submit, marking and giving feedback to online moderation and reflecting to inform the planning of the next assessment.
