TEL Professional Development

TEL Professional Development

Our TEL Programme of professional development includes both the pedagogical and practical aspects associated with expanding the use of varied technologies in our teaching and learning activities.

TEL 1-2-1 Consultations



30-minute one-to-one sessions with a member of the TEL team, designed to provide you with advice and support on the effective use of technology in your teaching. To request a session, email it@reading.ac.uk with a summary of your query. A member of the TEL team will then contact you to arrange a meeting.

TEL Programme



Overview of all training sessions, workshops, showcases and events available through the TEL Programme.

Using Blackboard



Hands-on workshops covering various aspects of using Blackboard, from designing and delivering your module to creating accessible content.

Assessment and Feedback



TEL sessions for academic and administrative colleagues involved in electronic assessment, based on the processes and guidelines provided through the EMA Project.

TEL Online Tutorials



These tutorials are for University of Reading staff and aim to provide flexible online resources that can be accessed in your own time, at your own pace.
