TEL Practitioner Forum

TEL Practitioner Forum

Decorative image

The TEL Practitioner Forum (TELPF) is our community of practice which aims to build relationships between staff who are experienced or have an interest in Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL). The Forum helps inform the development of TEL at the University. Outputs from the TELPF feed into the work and decisions of different projects, committees and groups.

It is comprised of a variety of academic and professional staff from across the University who are either actively interested in or have responsibility for TEL (or supporting TEL) in their School, Department or Function.

The purpose of the forum is to:

  • Provide an opportunity to you to network and share good practice with likeminded colleagues.
  • Find out about and contribute to the development of TEL projects.
  • Explore and discuss emerging TEL topics.
  • Receive early notice of TEL updates or work.

The group is facilitated by CQSD TEL. Members are expected to actively participate in forum meetings and contribute, as appropriate, to items raised in the group.

How to join the forum

Staff can self-nominate or need to be nominated by a School (either by an SDTL or senior colleague). The Forum aims to have a spread of representation from across the University. For consideration, please contact Adam Bailey (TEL Advisory Manager): a.r.g.bailey@reading.ac.uk.

Lunchtime Meetings

Meetings are held on a termly basis for forum members. The agenda for the meetings is arranged in advance and members can add topics for discussion and share good practice. The community has its own Team on MS Teams for communication and collaboration.
