I hold responsibility for the TEL and Online Courses teams. Working in partnership with our Digital Technology Services, I have a lead role in the direction and development of the digital learning environment.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve worked in the HE sector in the field of digital education since 1992, both on national initiatives and in institutional roles.\u00a0 My experience includes initiating and leading institution-wide digital change initiatives; designing and delivering professional development to support academic practice; working with Faculties\/Schools in the development of digital learning and e-assessment; teaching at UG and PG level; establishing a student-led digital pioneer enterprise; institutional TEL bench-marking.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications and awards:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>National Teaching Fellow (NTF)<\/li>\n<li>HEA Principal Fellow (PFHEA)<\/li>\n<li>University Teaching Fellow (UTF)<\/li>\n<li>SEDA Fellow (FSEDA)<\/li>\n<li>MA Education<\/li>\n<li>MSc Computer Science<\/li>\n<li>MA English Literature and Language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Publications and presentations include (published as both Holmes and Simpson):<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Mayhew, E., Davies, M. and Holmes, V.
