{"id":14447,"date":"2026-07-06T09:43:44","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T09:43:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/?page_id=14447"},"modified":"2026-07-06T09:43:44","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T09:43:44","slug":"disseminating-research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/disseminating-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Disseminating research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span class=\"TextRun SCXW165527056 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun CommentHighlightPipeRest SCXW165527056 BCX0\">Online courses\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW165527056 BCX0\">provide<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW165527056 BCX0\"> an exciting way to reach new audiences because of their global reach and accessible, inclusive learning design <\/span><\/span><span class=\"TrackChangeTextInsertion TrackedChange SCXW165527056 BCX0\"><span class=\"TextRun SCXW165527056 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW165527056 BCX0\">and we are working with several colleagues on developing courses to support potential future REF Impact Case Studies<\/span><\/span><\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">\u00a0Longest standing partnerships was with EIT Food, which enabled us to work with UoR experts in Agriculture and Food and Nutritional Sciences to develop a series of courses aimed at consumers which have attracted over 85,000 enrolments . <span class=\"TextRun SCXW120744010 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW120744010 BCX0\">The Online Courses Team led in the design and delivery of these courses, sharing best practice and guidance with\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW120744010 BCX0\">UoR<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW120744010 BCX0\">\u00a0colleagues and partners from<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TrackChangeTextInsertion TrackedChange TrackChangeHoverSelectColorPurple SCXW120744010 BCX0\"><span class=\"TextRun SCXW120744010 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun TrackChangeHoverSelectHighlightPurple SCXW120744010 BCX0\"> multiple European Universities and other organisations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">&#8220;<span style=\"color: #000000\">The University of Reading&#8217;s online course team played a pivotal role in shaping the EIT Food MOOC portfolio. With their team of experts, they actively participated in crafting 16 top-tier courses, offering valuable guidance and knowledge throughout the process.
