The Forum <strong>helps inform the development of TEL at the University<\/strong>. Outputs from the TELPF feed into the work and decisions of different projects, committees and groups.<\/p>\n<p>It is comprised of a variety of academic and professional staff from across the University who are either actively interested in or have responsibility for TEL (or supporting TEL) in their School, Department or Function.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the forum is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide an opportunity to you to network and share good practice with likeminded colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Find out about and contribute to the development of TEL projects.<\/li>\n<li>Explore and discuss emerging TEL topics.<\/li>\n<li>Receive early notice of TEL updates or work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The group is facilitated by CQSD TEL. Members are <strong>expected to actively participate<\/strong> in forum meetings and contribute, as appropriate, to items raised in the group.<\/p>\n<h2>How to join the forum<\/h2>\n<p>Staff can <strong>self-nominate or need to be nominated<\/strong> by a School (either by an SDTL or senior colleague). The Forum aims to have a <strong>spread of representation from across the University<\/strong>. The agenda for the meetings is arranged in advance and <strong>members can add topics for discussion <\/strong>and <strong>share good practice<\/strong>.
