I work collaboratively with my University colleagues to promote the effective use of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL), ensuring digital tools enrich teaching practice and enhance the student experience. I am the key contact for Learning Capture within the TEL team,<\/span> supporting the strategic development of the tool at the University.<\/p>\n

My background is in language teaching and learning technologies. I spent 15 years as an English as a Foreign Language teacher in private language schools, further and higher education, in the UK and Germany. My passion for technology-enhanced learning led me to a dedicated TEL role in education, where I’ve worked closely with educators to explore digital solutions through training and consultancy.<\/p>\n

My areas of expertise include online and blended learning design, digital pedagogies, lecture capture, immersive technologies (AR, VR, 360 video), and technology-enhanced language acquisition. I have a particular interest in how digital tools can foster active and collaborative learning, improve accessibility, and support innovative teaching practices.<\/p>\n

I’ve completed the Advance HE Aurora Women in Leadership Programme.<\/p>\n
