However, there are a variety of options which may better suit a particular recording scenario. As a result, the preview window will automatically minimize upon recording starting. If you prefer to see your camera preview whilst recording Talking Head or Camera-Only videos, we recommend either re-opening the application whilst recording or using YuJa's Browser Capture.<\/p><p>Recordings made with the Software Capture Application will automatically upload to YuJa.<\/p><h2>YuJa Browser Capture<\/h2><p>YuJa's Browser Capture offers a simple, browser-based recorder. To record a Talking Head or Camera-Only video, deselect any non-camera video inputs before recording. A preview of your camera will be visible whilst recording.<\/p><p>Recordings made with YuJa Browser Capture will automatically upload to YuJa.<\/p><h2><span data-contrast=\"none\">Teams Meeting<\/span><\/h2><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Teams i<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s a free application available to all university staff that has options to record your screen and camera, using the Meet Now feature. Recordings made in Teams <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel-support\/2022\/05\/30\/uploading-to-yuja\/\">will need to be uploaded to YuJa<\/a>.<\/span><\/p><p>If you are comfortable using Teams for recording, we do not recommend changing your practice with the switch to YuJa.<\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Be aware that Teams does not allow for pausing mid-recording, so you may wish to consider whether this is the right tool for the type of video you are making.<\/span><\/p><h2><span data-contrast=\"none\">QuickTime<\/span><\/h2><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">QuickTime is a free tool which comes pre-installed on Macs.
