This includes Blackboard, the University\u2019s virtual learning environment (VLE), as well as learning capture and online collaborative tools. I also contribute to and lead technology-enhanced learning (TEL) projects at the University of Reading, aligning with the institution\u2019s broader teaching, learning, and strategic initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>My particular interest lies in promoting active learning through student response systems, including quizzing and polling tools, and online collaborative platforms, fostering greater student engagement, immediate feedback, and inclusivity.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining the University\u2019s TEL Team in 2015, I worked as a development editor and supported the design and delivery of fully online courses at the University of the Built Environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA)<\/li>\n<li>MA Modern Literature<\/li>\n<li>BSc (Hons) English Language and Literature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I support and advise academic colleagues on enhancing their teaching practice and enriching the student experience through the effective use of digital technologies.
