Why make recordings?<\/h2>\n
Learning Capture recordings supports student success, flexibility, and inclusion. They provide essential support for students throughout their studies.<\/p>\n

The University Recording Policy<\/a>\u00a0encourages staff to record teaching in ways that support students’ learning and reflect the nature of different teaching contexts.<\/p>\nYou should record:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n- Staff-led, presentation-style content (e.g. lectures, demonstrations).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
You don\u2019t need to record:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n- Student-led or discussion-based sessions (e.g. seminars, tutorials).<\/li>\n
- Sessions with sensitive content or where a recording would have limited value.<\/li>\n
