We do not have a timescale as yet, but we certainly hope to have the matter resolved before the start of term.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Please do not delete the Reading List link<\/strong> (if you do, you\u2019ll need to recreate it once Blackboard have released a fix for this issue).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you need to make the reading list available to your students before the start of term, you can<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Create a link inside a course content area<\/strong><br \/>\nThere is no problem creating Talis links inside course content areas (as you would do, for instance, if you need to link to more than one reading list for your Blackboard course).See <a href=\"http:\/\/libguides.reading.ac.uk\/reading-lists\/staff\/blackboard#s-lib-ctab-10844671-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Linking to multiple lists<\/a> on the Library help page, or this guide: <a href=\"http:\/\/libguides.reading.ac.uk\/ld.php?content_id=29971473#page=5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Linking to your reading list(s) on Blackboard<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Provide students with the URL of the reading list<\/strong><br \/>\nGo to your reading list in Talis, copy the URL, and paste this in as a Web Link in Blackboard (or paste it in an email).<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/files\/2017\/08\/Talis-URL.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3075\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/files\/2017\/08\/Talis-URL.png\" alt=\"Talis URL\" width=\"718\" height=\"326\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apologies for any inconvenience, we will of course let colleagues know of progress in resolving this issue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Update 5th Sep<\/h1>\n<p>Please see\u00a0<a title=\"Permalink to Linking to your Reading Lists from Blackboard \u2013 action required\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/2017\/09\/05\/linking-to-your-reading-lists-from-blackboard-action-required\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">Linking to your Reading Lists from Blackboard \u2013 action required<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have been made aware of an issue with links to Talis reading lists in Blackboard.
