Join in online on <strong>Wednesday 20 December<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/files\/2017\/11\/Apps.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3337\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/files\/2017\/11\/Apps-300x279.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of the burning of the apps\" width=\"300\" height=\"279\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.brighton.ac.uk\/burningapps\/\">http:\/\/blogs.brighton.ac.uk\/burningapps\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps you participated in one of the many fine examples of the 12 Apps of Christmas.\u00a0 At the University of Brighton, we like to bring the \u2018pud\u2019.\u00a0 Last year saw our first \u201cBurning of the Apps\u201d and we are repeating the pudding this year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Burning of the Apps will be held on <strong>Wednesday the 20th December<\/strong> at Falmer \u2013 at the Explore Studio (Checkland D132).\u00a0 A day-long event,\u00a0 <strong>you are welcome to attend, drop-in-to or participate online from anywhere<\/strong> in the UK or world, for that matter. <strong><span style=\"color: #008000\">We will showcase the best of our current academic practice using apps, web applications and\u00a0 other technology to support learning and teaching.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will again be live-streaming the interviews, from our various sites, of our talented academic staff discussing the ways they\u2019ve utilised technology in their teaching to enhance learning at the University.<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned, and find us on Twitter at the hashtag:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23brightlearn&amp;src=typd\">#brightlearn<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A showcase of the best of Brighton University&#8217;s current academic practice using apps, web applications and other technology to enhance teaching and learning.
