Details of how this process works were highlighted in a recent staff portal news article:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/internal\/staffportal\/news\/articles\/spsn-794245.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Provision of generic exams feedback approved by UBTLSE for 2018\/19 onwards<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The exam feedback is being provided to students through Blackboard<\/strong>.&nbsp;To facilitate this and ensure consistency in how the feedback is made available, a <strong>new&nbsp;menu area has been automatically added to&nbsp;the Blackboard courses<\/strong> <strong>for all 2018-19 modules.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Colleagues from the Programme Administration teams will be working with Module Convenors to populate this new area with the correct content.<\/p>\n<p>The area is labelled&nbsp;&#8216;<strong>Past Exam Papers and Feedback<\/strong>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<p>By default, this area&nbsp;appears at the bottom of the course menu.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/files\/2019\/04\/example-course-menu.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4497\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/files\/2019\/04\/example-course-menu.png\" alt=\"example course menu\" width=\"209\" height=\"497\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can easily <strong>move it to a different position<\/strong>, so that it&nbsp;sits with other assessment-related menu items, by dragging and dropping it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4502 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/files\/2019\/04\/22EB1F1D-22CD-46C3-8FCE-A02D5CEEE0D7.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"308\" height=\"400\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>What do I need to do if my Blackboard course does not have the new menu area?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>All Blackboard courses for single RISIS modules, and all Merged courses will have the new menu area added automatically. If your course is in a different category, <strong>you can still provide exam feedback but need to add the menu area&nbsp;manually<\/strong>.&nbsp;You can do this by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel-support\/2018\/07\/24\/blackboard-customising-a-course-menu\/\">adding a new content area to your course menu<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Generic exams feedback is now being rolled out across the University following a successful pilot and approval by UBTLSE.
