{"id":4619,"date":"2016-03-24T10:50:17","date_gmt":"2016-03-24T10:50:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/?p=1119"},"modified":"2016-03-24T10:50:17","modified_gmt":"2016-03-24T10:50:17","slug":"turnitin-email-receipts-dont-include-the-paper-id","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/2016\/03\/24\/turnitin-email-receipts-dont-include-the-paper-id\/","title":{"rendered":"FIXED: Turnitin email receipts don&#8217;t include the Paper ID"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Update: this has been resolved<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>From April 2016 Turnitin receipts have once again included the Paper ID<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is currently a technical issue which means that Turnitin\u00a0email receipts (automatically sent to students when they submit their work) do not contain the\u00a0Paper ID.<\/p>\n<p>The email does contain details of the<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>submission title<\/li>\n<li>assignment<\/li>\n<li>course<\/li>\n<li>date and time of submission<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>so is still proof of submission. However the Paper ID is\u00a0the one unique identifier, and a vital piece of information if we need to raise a support call with Turnitin.<\/p>\n<p>Turnitin are aware of the problem, and say that it will be resolved during\u00a0their next maintenance window.
