The site covers everything from answers to\u00a0students&#8217;\u00a0frequently asked questions to\u00a0essential advice on how to submit\u00a0assignments online.<\/p>\n<p>Students can now access a clean and simple help site when they click on the \u2018<strong>Support for Students<\/strong>\u2019 tab within Blackboard.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel-help-for-students\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1878 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/tel\/files\/2016\/09\/bb-studentsupporttab.jpg\" alt=\"bb-studentsupporttab\" width=\"420\" height=\"309\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As <strong>members of staff you also have access to this tab<\/strong> to see what help is available and assist\u00a0students to find the help they need.<\/p>\n<p>The help site contains all of the same information that was previously available\u00a0but the refreshed layout should make it <strong>easier and quicker for students to\u00a0locate\u00a0information<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h1><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Using the new site<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=RGa_LkY9HoU\" target=\"_blank\">Watch this short video <\/a>to see what the new site offers.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"730\" height=\"411\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RGa_LkY9HoU?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-GB&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>You can now:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Search<\/span><\/strong> the articles to find help, with <strong>predictive text<\/strong> that suggests\u00a0relevant\u00a0articles as you type!<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Browse<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u00a0<\/span>articles by category.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Access<\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"> concise <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">advice\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>that answer queries and include\u00a0<strong>links to further details<\/strong> and support guides.<\/p>\n<p>The TEL team will continuously develop and refine the help materials on this site to ensure it meets students&#8217; needs.
